Full course description
Welcome to the Nevada Small Business Development Center (SBDC)! Our onboarding course is designed to help new hires get up to speed on our company's history, learn who’s who and how to navigate our systems.
In this course, you will learn about the founding of the Nevada SBDC and how we have been helping small businesses grow and succeed for over 30 years. You will also become familiar with our mission, vision, and values, as well as our organizational structure and key personnel.
Additionally, you will receive hands-on training on our internal systems, including our customer relationship management (CRM) software, email and calendar tools, and file sharing platform. You will learn how to use these tools to communicate with clients, manage projects, and collaborate with your colleagues.
Finally, you will meet the key players in our organization, including your immediate supervisor, the department heads, and other staff members who will be essential to your success at the Nevada SBDC.
By the end of this course, you will have a solid understanding of the history, culture, and operations of the Nevada SBDC, and you will be ready to contribute to our mission of supporting small businesses in Nevada. Welcome aboard!
